Issue Position

s a United States Senator from the great state of Wyoming, sworn to uphold the Constitution and committed to do what's right for Wyoming:
I WILL …never forget America's solemn commitment with America's veterans--to ensure that they are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve, and make sure that our government honors their service and sacrifices not just in words, but in deeds.
I WILL…fight for a dedicated funding stream, free from political manipulation, which fully funds veteran's health care, including mental health, PTSD, TBI and all other conditions incurred or aggravated during service to our country.
I WILL…fight to improve access and reduce backlogs for all veterans, especially veterans living in rural areas. This includes increasing the travel mileage reimbursement for veterans living far from VA facilities and providing rural veterans with additional options for access to care and support.
I WILL…fight to provide health care and educational parity for National Guard and Reserve troops who serve in conflict zones defending America's freedom
And,
I WILL…never forget that the best way to ensure the health and safety of our armed service members and their families is to ensure that war and armed conflict is a last resort after all other options have been exhausted.
